The Blue Plate Restaurant San Francisco Review The Blue Plate is simply an excellent restaurant and one of our top recommendations. We enjoyed a meal at the Blue Plate and enjoyed it immensely. The outer Mission style and service plus incredible food made our visit a pleasure. The waiter talked with us like a friend, sat with us, and really made us feel welcome. I would say it was the best service I have received in the past five years. The location is pretty sketchy - cabs are strongly recommended as there is little or no parking and absolutely no valet service. Sample menu below, current menu at the Blue Plate.
