Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf

San Francisco Hotel Review

One of the Wharf's largest hotels with over 525 rooms and the Sheraton's commitment to quality service. Over $33 million in renovations were invested in this flagship hotel in 2008 to add a bright, modern decor to the rooms. Centrally located in one of San Francisco’s Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood, the hotel is close to all the major attractions such as Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and Alcatraz Island.

Relax with a yummy cocktail at the outdoor living room complete with fire pits. You can enjoy a swim in the outdoor pool, or workout in the well outfitted fitness room. The brand new sleek lobby lounge is a great place for a martini or appetizer. Valet parking is is priced at $44 per day (as of December 2010).

The modern, bright guest rooms are spacious and feature the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, high-speed Internet access, coffeemakers, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, and cable TV with pay-per-view movies.

Travelers find the rooms to be gorgeous, large, with lovely furniture and freshly decorated with brand new paint / furniture. If you like minimalist decor, this is the hotel for you, very contemporary. If you dislike modern, minimalist decor - it might not be right for you. Although the bathrooms are on the small side, they are beautifully tiled and very clean. All the public areas in the hotel are lovely especially the firepits. It's great to sit out there at night having a drink and socializing.

The hotel features the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed in every room. The Sweet Sleeper is setting a new standard for hotel beds with a custom designed plush top mattress set, a cozy fleece blanket, a plump duvet and five cushy pillows.

When you travel to spectacular San Francisco you deserve hotel accommodations as refreshing and enjoyable as the city itself.

Comfortable and convenient, the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf features a relaxing and colorful decor in a completely smoke-free environment. The 529 beautifully appointed guest rooms feature high-speed Internet access and are complete with convenient amenities that make you feel right at home.

The location is equally inviting, just steps away from San Francisco's finest attractions. Stroll through Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square. Enjoy the city's world-class dining, or head back to the hotel to unwind in the outdoor living room near warm fire pits.
