La Luna Inn

San Francisco Review

La Luna Inn San Francisco

The renovation of this 1960's motel is a modern classic with great prices that include both breakfast and parking. The location is right near the Golden Gate Bridge approach in San Francisco. The rooms include comfy new beds, modern furniture, and stylish painting.

La Luna Courtyard San Francisco Motel

This motel is in the budget class - but its quality renovation and staff's dedication to service make it a great choice for your trip. Travelers are already reporting great satisfaction with this "newly new" property in the Marina area.

La Luna gives you a great bargain for basic accommodation in a safe, convenient area near a variety of cool local attractions including both Marina Green and Pacific Heights. Check it out if you're looking for a nice room and to save a few bucks. The parking alone may make it worth it (over $30 at some downtown hotels)...

2599 Lombard Street - San Francisco, California

Dom Jackson writes, "They need to replace their reception if they are serious of providing friendly customer service. There are plenty of other better more friendly motels on Lombard Street."

Roy writes, "Motel substandard - elevator frequently did not work, vile deodorizer used in rooms, ripped carpet. Relatively inexpensive (unless you add the charge for internet access), beds are acceptable, and mostly clean. First and last time staying at La Luna. Many better accommodations available in area."

Sueann writes, "My son and I recently returned from San Francisco and stayed at La Luna and couldn't be more pleased with the accommodations. Tim checked us in and was a wealth of information. We could see the Golden Gate bridge from the balcony. We could take the -30 bus-2 blocks away and get down to Fishermans wharf and transfer to the 10 to get to the Pier 33 to go to Alcatraz. The weather was gorgeous sunny and 65 degrees...in April??!! We had a blast!! and look forward to staying here again. There were good neighborhood places to eat breakfast nearby/ The Grove/Squat and gobble/Judy's and a dinner at the corner of Divisedero and Lombard for a great Philly sandwich and fries called OBW/ original Buffalo Wings.... La Luna is a great find!!"
