Our Top Pick for Unlmited Expense Accounts.

One of San Francisco's hottest luxury restaurants, Restaurant Gary Danko earned a coveted Mobil Five Star award. Why? In two words, Gary Danko rocks! Beginning his career at Beringer Vineyards as executive chef in Napa, Gary moved to Chateau Souverain in Sonoma and on to the Ritz Carlton. Gary's final stint before opening his own restaurant was at Viognier's gourmet in San Francisco.

Danko is only seventy-five seats for people who know good food. Ingredients enhancing each other like juniper spiced venison medallions and cranberry-onion compote, or snapper with saffron, tarragon and fennel puree delight patrons. The desserts are both delicious and unique like frozen almond souffle with blood orange sauce or passion fruit and mango napoleon. Food and Wine magazine ranked Gary Danko as one of the ten best new chefs in America, but in 1999 his destiny was revealed with the amazing Danko. The James Beard Foundation named Gary the best chef in California.

Restaurant Gary Danko is one of the most refined, sophisticaated restaurants in San Francisco. You can expect to spend around $100 per person here for a full meal with drinks and dessert. The menu is divided by the number of courses served. This is one of San Francisco's TOP restaurants -- highly recommended.

Our readers write, "Gary Danko's is by far the finest dining experience my wife and I have had in San Franciso Bay area. We recently went for the fourth time. The food is always elegantly prepared and presented. The service is the most professional yet attentive (but not overbearing!) you will find anywhere.

By comparison... My wife and I always stay at the Ritz. Their resraurant is the only other 5 Star in the city. While their food is good their service is pretentious. Their staff make us feel that they are quite above it all.

In our view the dining experience at Gary's is truly the finest we have found in the world..."
