Rose Pistola makes excellent trendy Italian food on Columbus Street in North Beach.

Rose Pistola is a beautiful restaurant and its North Beach location is ideal. The service is awesome and the food is delicious. Expect to spend about $50 per person for dinner and about $30 per person for lunch.

A long bar decorates the space with natural wood and halogen lighting. The food is Italian with a California flair. They grill a variety of fish and meats, feature brick oven pizza's, and have a variety of pasta's with great wines.

Had outstanding meal, great service and ideas I have already imitated in my kitchen. Their Heirloom tomato salad, gnocchi with calamari sauce and my favorite Summer Pudding were outstanding..."

Rose Pistola is highly recommended and very popular so make sure to make reservations well in advance or consider visiting at an off hour. Andy's rating is an "A-" for a great restaurant but an elitist air.
