Bix is a very traditional restaurant with a lot of martini's, jazz, and cigar smoking. Located in a hard-to-find alley, it's a pretty cool place with high quality food but not too much innovation. A good bar to wait at or hang out at too. Located near the yuppie-mecca Financial District, it runs around $50 per person. 56 Gold Street (secret alley between Jackson & Pacific) 433-6300.
