Pier 39 San Francisco Entertainment Review
World Travelers from Asia Enjoy Unique Pier 39 Sculptures... San Francisco's Pier 39 is located conveniently to many Fisherman's Wharf hotels. The shopping mall include a variety of entertainment along with shopping, gifts, and restaurants. We find Pier 39 to be a very crowded and busy place -- however it is one of San Francisco's most popular tourist attractions (traps). Several outdoor sculptures surround Pier 39 and are included within the shopping mall itself.
The sea lions at San Francisco's Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf are easily the mall's very top attraction. A wealth of sea lions relax on docks that are easily viewable just outside the mall. Many street vendors playing music or acting out scenes throng the entrance to Pier 39. Most of these vendors play for free, although many are quite aggressive in seeking tips for their "free" entertainment. The world music shown above is particularly enjoyable in the seating that surrounds the open area at the entrance to Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
